St. Ethledreda with St. Clements

1990 - To date: Spanning two millenia

The Bishop of Kensington appointed Fr John Henley, from Greenway near Cardiff, as priest-in-charge. To him fell the task of overseeing the completion of the new halls, which were opened in 1994.

Once again there is talk of pastoral re-organisation. The Church of England must decide whether it is finance-led or mission-led, whether its ministers to the gathered few or continues to claim the spiritual care of every parishioner who calls upon it. (In this parish, some 5,500 homes). That there is a need, a spiritual hunger, is demonstrated continually and the challenge of parish today is to satisfy that hunger.
